This historically valuable collection had been carefully preserved by the General Botha Trust, since the last intake year in 1987. This Trust was established by the last Board of Control of the General Botha, then under the Chairmanship of Captain Arthur Bluett (Cadet # 1455).The Trust was, under the Chairmanship of Captain Kieron Cox (Cadet # 2364), terminated in 2019. All the artifacts were either donated to a training institution where they were housed or handed to the TS General Botha Association. The TS General Botha Association subsequently donated many of the artifacts to the S.A. Naval Museum.
