A masterful shot from old chum Bill Cope. He does a lot of walking up in Silvermine Nature Reserve, part of a group who do regularl hikes there Tuesdays. Anyway, I've been angling for some time for Bill to share "my bit of mountain" - we finally got it together; great climb on a cool sunny day - up "Cullen's Ridge" so moving into the mysterious "Barry's Pass" to the summit and obligatory coffee stop with view. Smiling beside me is hound-dog "Bond", a Canus Afrikanus, which breed I am told are descended from the Pharaohs.
